UON’s Portable Prestart Unit is a compact and fully portable service unit that fits on the rear of a service vehicle and can be utilized anywhere on site.
Our field service technicians can now drive to individually placed generators and maintain them with easy access. UON’s Pilbara based client requested a portable solution for generator prestart oil and coolant top-ups, aiming to replace the time-consuming task of packing and maintaining service vehicles with multiple service trips.
The UON design and fabrication teams developed the modular unit to client specification with a 50L oil and coolant capacity, 15m of retractable hose reels and digital meters. The design also includes a 12V battery with solar trickle charging to replenish any power drainage.
UON’s Solar Powered Portable Prestart Unit takes the labour out of generator servicing, improving overall efficiency and safety.
