In the first swim meet of the season in Carnarvon – The Gascoyne Open – the club recorded some great results. A team of 13 swimmers from the club participated in over 100 individual events, against clubs from across the Pilbara, Mid-West and Gascoyne regions.
The swimmers delivered:
– 59 Personal Best Times
– 24 Gold Medals

One of the team achieve a State Qualifying time in the 50m Freestyle and several others were only milliseconds away from qualifying.
One of the club’s swimmers was awarded the Todd Hutton Memorial Trophy; a ‘swimmer of the meet’ accolade to the one who achieves the highest amount of personal best times.
