Civil earthworks are complete and HDPE piping installation continues for the UON team at a major water management infrastructure project north-west of Tom Price in WA’s Pilbara region. The project is centred on sustaining operations at an open iron ore pit, with UON supplying, installing and commissioning bore pumps, generators, telemetry and associated equipment.
The installation of a 5ML Turkeys Nest and HDPE piping continues with multiple haul road crossings and culverts installed without any disruption to pit operations. UON’s dedicated dewatering team will oversee the installation of seven in-pit bore pump assemblies utilising UON’s (PATENT PENDING) GMC VSD Technology© for total control and flexibility.
The UON site team continues to work in conjunction with client site operations to ensure the project is delivered safely and with a focus on quality whilst maintaining the day to day mining operations in the pit.
