KEY SUCCESS

UON were tasked with delivering a dewatering solution for an old mine being reactivated, via an existing ventilation shaft. This required a custom shaft cap to be designed and fabricated to facilitate two 147 kW submersible pumps, installed to a depth of 300 m. Additional telemetry was provided to monitor multiple level sensing probes and to enable full remote access control.

DELIVERABLES

UON deployed electric pumps powered by our GMC generators to deliver over 30% fuel savings compared to competitors.

    • 2 bore pump assemblies and associated downhole equipment
    • 2 dewatering bore head works and (Patent-Pending) UON GMC© Generators
    • Telemetry system and integration into SCADA system
    • Designed and built in 14 days
    • Installed in 6 days
