Scale of project
UON were tasked with delivering a dewatering solution for an old mine being reactivated, via an existing ventilation shaft. This required a custom shaft cap to be designed and fabricated to facilitate two 147 kW submersible pumps, installed to a depth of 290 m. Additional telemetry was provided to monitor multiple level sensing probes and to enable full remote access control.
- 2 bore pump assemblies and associated downhole equipment
- 2 dewatering bore head works and (Patent-Pending) UON GMC© Generators
- Telemetry system and integration into SCADA system
- 600 kVA of power
- Installed in 6 days
