The Woodie Woodie manganese mine is 400 km southeast of Port Hedland in Western Australia's Pilbara region. The nearest town of any size is Marble Bar, the hottest place in the West. Our job was to design, build and install a 2MW power station including generators, a switchroom and distribution board..

• Switchroom with fire protection  

Because of the short time frame on this project – and the remoteness of the location – the containerised switchroom was fully built at the UON factory before being transported and installed on site.
