RGP5 Camps Power Station

The RGP5 Camps form part of the Rail Duplication Works along the route between Port Hedland and Newman Hub.
There are two Camps:

• Redmont (800 persons) - 3MW
• Turner River (300 persons) - 2MW

UON were contracted to design, manufacture and construct temporary power stations for each site. The works consisted of direct purchase of components by the customer with the hire of diesel generators and fuel tanks.

• 2x Modular Cubic Switchboards
• 2x 50kL Fuel Tanks & Pricing
• 1x 2MVA 11kV Step up Transformer

The Power Stations are set up with Scada Technology and are capable of being remotely monitored & maintained by UON.
