Ravensthorpe

The small town of Ravensthorpe in the southwest of Western Australia needed more power. Their existing electricity supply was inadequate and unreliable, and so Western Power contracted UON to design and build a temporary power station near the town.

• 4 x 500 kVA Cummins generating sets
• 50 kL fuel tank and piping
• Modular Cubic switchboard

The power station is monitored and maintained by UON. State-of-the-art SCADA technology lets our operators remotely view real time data and control the whole installation remotely from a mobile phone. The location is also monitored by CCTV cameras.
