Hope Downs Process Water

Pumps are ideally used for supplying and boosting water to the mine process plant and facilities. Flow range of 10 to 150 litres per second, pressure of 120m TDH. 

 

Project Fact File
 

• The complete system will be in two sections for ease of transport and installation
• The system will consist of 6 (with provision for 7) Grundfos CR90-6 Vertical Multi stage pump units complete with 45kW 415v 50Hz motors conforming to PEK429-E-SPE-)
• Danfos heat sensors will be fitted to each pump to provide against overheating at low flow.
• Stainless steel Rain/Sun hats will be mounted on each motor to provide protection from the elements   

   

Base Plate

• The base will have provision for 7 pumps
• he heavy duty, common base frame which supports the pumps will be fabricated from mild steel and hot dipped galvanized
• Base will be in two sections, both with lifting lugs and forklift access points

 

Manifolds

• Manifolds will have provision for 7 pumps
• Manifolds will be fabricated from DN300 schedule 10S (MIN) 316 stainless steel and incorporated inlet/outlet flanges to AS4087 PN16 dimensions
• Branch sizes as per pump nominal diameter
• Flow switch and pressure gauge fitted to each pump discharge
• Common suction & discharge manifold to have 2 x spare 316S/S 20mm V1 3 piece ball valve connections
• Manifold supports / Pipe clamps are included
