Australian Broadcasting Corporation - Installation of 1000kVA Generator, acoustic treatment, fuel transfer system and control panel.

 

Project fact file:

• Installation of a below-ground 10,000 litre tank in the car park, with piping and transfer pumping system (duty and standby) 
• 1000 litre day tank in the first-floor generator room 

Completion of this project involved the complete design and installation of engine exhaust, generator air intake and discharge and fuel systems.
 

Engine exhaust, air intake and discharge were required to meet a noise level of 75 dB(A) @ 1m. This was achieved through attenuators for both with dimensions up to 2500 wide by 4100 long by 3150 and critical exhaust silencers.
